ARISE – Women’s Ministry

About Arise

Flowing from our vision at New Life Church Crouch Valley is a desire to see everyone fulfill their potential in God. Our ladies’ ministry, ‘Arise’, was formed to serve women of the church and local community, to this end. Through ‘Arise’, there’s always something going on for ladies to get involved in, so have a look here or pop into Miracle House for more information about forthcoming events.

Ladies Connect

This is a chance to simply connect with other local women. Day times can be lonely, so we have an open invitation for local women to meet on every third Wednesday of the month, 12:15 – 1:30 pm, in the conference room at Miracle House. You can bring your own lunch or buy something from Yum Yum’s café downstairs, then come upstairs for an informal gathering to chat, catch up and share life. Speak to Annie Case or Lissie Purnell for more information.

Breakfasts

Two or three times a year, we host a ladies’ breakfast morning, a time for fellowship, fun and sharing, based around a theme. These mornings often include having guest speakers from New Life Church or further afield coming to share something of their own story and bring encouragement, as well as a lovely breakfast, of course! The next ladies’ breakfasts will be on 21st January 2017 and 7th October 2017.

Seminars

Sometimes we just want to sink our teeth into something a bit meatier and quite specific – right? Sometimes we feel like we’re starting to get a sense of what we need to do or where we need to be, but don’t quite know how to go about it or how to get there – right? Well, thank God for our seminars, which bring opportunities to address some of these issues in an atmosphere of openness, honesty, encouragement and challenge. Our next seminar will be on 17th June 2017, topic to be confirmed, so get in touch if there’s something in particular you’d like to see included.

Ladies’ Days

These are our ladies’ conferences. We have hosted two highly successful conferences so far and they get bigger and better each time. They are perhaps best described as a refreshing fusion of worship, practical biblical teaching, discussion, sharing and prayer ministry, again infused with creativity and fun. Coffee and lunch breaks also provide extra opportunities to network and make new friends. Contact us for more information and to sign up to join us at our next conferences on 12th November 2016 and 11th March 2017. Also, watch this space for details of our latest exciting development for a joint men’s and ladies’ conference – where Mars meets Venus!
